Mother of 6 wonderful children, none of which are neurotypical. I head a family which an Autism specialist referred to as "a problem family" due to the multitude of developmental and learning issues. Thanks to support provided by an extended family household, we have managed to create an environment which supports ongoing learning and progress for all its members. It's not always easy or peaceful, but it's worth the effort and has brought our family close together.
