Claire Smith is a locum dentist who keeps bees, chickens and naturally homesteads on her 100 acre Skeffling Lavender Farm up near the beautiful Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. With an Ecology and Environmental Science degree and 10 years of being a respected antique linen dealer (Mill Pond Cottage Antique Linens) online she loves to learn new things and devours non-fiction books!
She enjoys writing for adults and children and making soaps, lotions and candles and sachets and other lavender products she's grown! In her spare time, she spends time in the coop with her chickens, or relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view and harvesting her huge raised-bed veggie garden.
