I am a wife and mother of three children. My oldest daughter was born with Spina Bifida a birth defect. Unfortunately she passed away at the age of 23, October 30th 2006 in a fire at her apartment. I have another daughter and a son. I love photography and writing. Having a child with a disability has taught me and my other children a lot. To have compassion and to be non judgmental toward others. My daughter was a very special person and touched a lot of people in her short life.

How 10 Years Has Changed MeThings are not the same in America since 9/11. At least I believe it is not. My outlook has changed considerably. What and how are we going to make our country safe again? What will happen to our children in the future years?
