It all started to come together for Dan, a recovering former Republican, when he started to realize that his former guru Milton Friedman could not adequately account for greed. He does indeed attempt to, but just does not get it done. His theories worked out pretty good when Dan was sitting in his dorm room at Indiana University, but they did not pass the test of time.

While growing up in the eighties, Dan learned to love President Reagan and his trickle down economics policies. In the end Reaganomics did not work out too well for him or anyone else that is not wealthy. Someone once asked him, "why the heck would corporations increase their investment and hiring if we are all too broke to buy what they are selling?" He could not answer him and the transformation began.

Although always a bit of a social liberal he is now a full blown tree hugging, bleeding heart, Keynesian-loving liberal. He makes no apologies. Although you can call him a progressive, he is not ashamed to be called a liberal.

Upon finishing his Business Marketing degree from Indiana University on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Dan began a few different careers, but would eventually end up hooked to the gaming industry. It is not exactly a higher calling but it does beat working.

After writing for decades Dan's first novel, "Max Yasgur's Farm" is available to purchase. What is it about? What else? A fictional trip to the thirtieth anniversary of the Woodstock Festival.

He is currently working on a non-fictional work which tries to demonstrate that there is no righteous, Jesus endorsed party as fundamentalist Christians would like you to believe.

His writing has led him to create the blog LiberalFix.com which then led to becoming a Huffington Post Contributor. His articles have been featured all around the internet and you never know where one might pop up.
