Who would've thought that "English Class" would serve me so well? From Shakespeare to Edgar Allan Poe, I loved it all...& soaked in every zesty morsel of what (I thought) great, inspiring writing should be. Now, many years later, I find myself as the owner & editor of ROCKUREVIEW.COM - a music review site that's garnered interest from around the globe, lending my own creative interpretations to a number of professional resources & leading industry names.
I have been priviledged to interview a number of talented individuals throughout this epic musical journey & photograph bands like Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Anvil...amongst many others. I've based all of my journalistic encounters on two primary elements - "respect for professional integrity" & "positive exposure"...which many readers feel shine through in my work. I strive to bring great results through responsible reporting...focusing on the UNIQUENESS of each individual artist, the ENERGY of the music, & what it takes to maintain a SUCCESSFUL CAREER in the field. Public relations has always been a very integral part of my surroundings, & it's a great way to combine the two things that I love the most...MUSIC & PEOPLE.
Please check out ROCKUREVIEW.COM - Your online ticket to the world's GREATEST music! It is a place where the gaps between major label & independent success fuse, ensuring that every artist achieves great exposure. My husband calls me the "Bill Curtis of Rock-N-Metal"...mainly because of my narrative style. I just hope to bring the world publicly informative pieces of knowledge, interest, & enthusiasm that are as EXPRESSIVE as the musicians I write about.
