I was born and raised in The Coastal Bend of South Texas known for warm climates, nice beaches and an occasional (yikes!) hurricane. Kingsville is home to the local university of the Fighting Javelinas and the High School's Mighty Brahmas! We also lay claim to the world known King Ranch known for it's fine cattle. I taught in the same school system for 28 years and was blessed to retire.My husband, Jesse, of 38 years has also retired, so we are able to take short, frequent trips. Through no fault of ours, we never had children of our own-- however I love my nieces and nephews as if they were my own!
