Melissa is a software industry professional living in the East Bay, California. She is an avid reader and began work on a personal memoir in 2010. In her quest to find her writing voice, she has done extensive research on the memoir and creative nonfiction genres. To help build her chops, she does freelance writing on a part-time basis.
Melissa has more than 15 years’ experience in software engineering, program management, product management, and strategic management. She holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration and expects to complete an MA in Organizational Leadership in 2012. She has completed many undergraduate and graduate courses in an online setting and has a strong knowledge of what it takes to be successful in that environment.
