Miscellaneous data:
--I was born, raised, and received my undergraduate education in Kentucky. When I completed my undergraduate education, my wife and I moved to Connecticut, and later to New York, where we continue to live. We are selling our current home in Westchester County, New York, and plan to relocate to Savannah, Georgia.
--I served two years in the U.S. Infantry (including 18 months in Germany).
--I am a moderately-accomplished musician. My principal instrument is the piano.
--I am somewhat fluent in German, Spanish and French.
--When I am writing original material, my drafts require little editing. I am a good and fast copy editor, and I work well with all kinds of people.
--I enjoy travel, both recreational and business-related.

My work experience has been varied. I have been a(n):
--research physicist with a major aircraft manufacturer;
--full-time college English instructor;
--program manager, then director of sales and marketing for a company creating continuing education seminars for a national network of colleges;
--vice-president, marketing, for a company producing annual reports and other investor relations literature for Fortune 500 companies;
--author of several books on computer software for major publishers;
--adjunct instructor in mathematics in the State University of New York.
--tenured professor teaching business computer applications and programming in the City University of New York (17 years, recently retired).
