Rowland C Carper Jr.

I am Rowland Carper from Ohio. I am married for 23 years now, have three boys that I am very proud of and four grand kids that I just adore. I am on disability/retirement from law enforcement since 2003. I had 14 years of service. I love to write. It has always been a passion of mine. I also write as therapy for wounds deep in my heart. I am counting on God our Father and Jesus Christ his son to help heal those wounds and finally come to terms with them. Through my travels of life I am seeking true Christianity. With help of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit I am sure I will reach my goal. I have given myself to God and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus of all sins. As i am man and will still sin I know that God will forgive me. All I have to do is confess my sin and ask for his forgiveness. I am proud to say that I do not travel alone, as always Jesus Christ is with me in my heart and my wife is with me by by side. This pleases me very much for I know that when we die we be able to spend eternity together in the kingdom of God. As I learn from reading spiritual motivational books, scripture and what is forwarded to us from the preacher at church from God. I find myself getting stronger and stronger to fight off the evil ways of the devil. Material things are nothing. It's the Faith and Love of Jesus Christ and God that sets us free. I have opened my heart and hope that you can to as we travel through these days of our lives to become true Christians.

I just recently started reading. I used to hate to read but until I purchased my wife a Nook and downloaded a spiritual motivational book from the library for me on it. I wouldn't touch a book. Now I have my own Nook and I am reading the series "The Left Behind." by Lahaye. I am on the second series and I tell you once you start reading, Christian or not, you can not put it down.
