Michael Heiss

Michael has been a writer since a young age and has applied his craft to both fiction and nonfiction, completing his first children's book before the age of ten. Since then, He has engaged a number of different genres, working on personal novels, poetry, and short stories, as well as contributing to publications in Boston and New York and working in both radio and print journalism.

Michael's creative career began in High School, where he published a number of short stories and poems. During his collegiate career, Michael worked in radio journalism, including a two-year period running the News department for Northeastern University's FM Radio station, WRBB, as well as publishing his own fiction pieces. After relocating to the New York area, Michael focused his writing in the food and travel genres, writing for a number of small travel publications and minor food critique web pages. Currently, Michael is writing his first novel as well as looking to publish a series of essays.
