Mr. Thorne owns and operates an old-fashioned gentleman's barbershop in Ellenton, Florida. He's previously published two works of non-fiction, and was at one time a newspaper columnist in Asheville, North Carolina. He lives by the Manatee River with Jessica, his life-partner and best friend. He's the proud father of four awesome children.

Wendell Thorne holds a B.A. in Creative Writing with Honors from UNC-Asheville, and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of LawInterests
Mr. Thorne enjoys singing and playing the guitar, baseball, golf, flying, writing books and truly loves his work as a barber. He d love to travel a lot more, would like to try his hand at umpiring, and sailing a nice-sized live-aboard around the CaribbeanMotto
