John Parker
Mr. Parker has lived in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and most urban regions of California. His perspective is distinctly Western, but he recognizes outstanding talent and teams throughout the country and the world.
Mr. Parker values truth and originality. He has a particular interest in defending the just-caused underdog. Thus, he champions revenue sharing in all professional team sports and college conferences and a fair play-off system in major college football.
Mr. Parker has flirted with the film and music industries, but his only produced/published writings so far have occurred in the field of rock & pop music criticism. Favorite music artists this week include Nirvana, U2, Stereolab, Guided by Voices, Swervedriver, the Replacements, and Joe Strummer.
