Lorrie M. Stewart
I have spent most of my life in North Carolina which is a fabulous place to live. I enjoy family, friends and my Labrador Retriever. I never really liked writing until I went to college and began to appreciate the power of words. I am inspired by Emerson, Poe and Hawthorne. I enjoy nature, keeping fit and most of all people. The greatest day of my life occured when my English Professor told me that one day I would write a masterpiece. I certainly hope he was right!
I am currently working on a novel which is fiction, but primarily based on the characters of family members and friends. I am very grateful to yahoo for affording me yet another opportunity to express myself in writing. Authors have a unique place in the world. They are able to gain immortality through their work. I edited a book for a friend which will appear in print next year.
Thank you for reading my profile and do come to Facebook and say hello!
