Bev Jones

Bev is a person of many passions. She is passionate about her family, especially her children, cooking, entrepreneurism and the business of marketing, just to name a few.

Her most favorite hobby is to replicate recipes, by taste, of her favorite meals and desserts she has ordered at restaurants. "I love the challenge of trying to uncover the recipes of making my favorite restaurant meals at home. Through trial and error, I get the greatest satisfaction of discovering the secret ingredients and techniques to getting that same restaurant delicious taste of a meal in my own kitchen!"

Bev's current food challenge: uncovering the perfect Chicago-style Deep dish pizza recipe. Her pizza icons: Lou Malnati's and Gino's East Pizza.

She spent years working in the agency and corporate marketing worlds specializing in the entertainment and hospitality industries, and discovered her love for freelance writing while staying home with her children after the birth of her second child. In addition to freelancing, Bev actively volunteers in her community and works as a marketing consultant with local "mom-preneurs" by helping start-up their businesses with grass-roots marketing.

Originally, she hails from the Midwest, born and raised in Chicago. Bev has also lived in other Midwestern cities such as Kansas City, Missouri and Indianapolis, Indiana. Currently, Bev resides in Texas with her two children, husband and 15-year-old Border Collie mix dog.
