I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist for over 5 years, with experience providing individual, group, and family counseling services in both private practice and local community agencies. I recently relocated from North Carolina to Florida, and am taking a break from counseling to get my family settled and work on finding a publisher for my recently completed first manuscript, a teen literary fiction novel. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with my husband, two adolescent daughters, and the family pets.
