Avi Zell
Avi Zell owns and operates a Cafe in the Pacific Northwest. Avi developed a passion for writing while working as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. Eventually, Avi saved enough money and put himself through college earning a Finance Degree from Rutgers University. Next, Avi embarked upon his professional career serving in the Enforcement Division at the Securities and Exchange Commission, 7 World Trade Center. Although the S.E.C. provided both job security and personal satisfaction, Avi was lured away to work at Morgan Stanley global headquarters, Times Square, where he learned about derivatives and Investment banking regulatory practices. Catching the fever of dot com opportunism, Avi continued building business experience with roles as CEO, COO and various other titles specializing in business development responsibilities at several Internet and high technology firms. Post dot com crash endeavors have included a failed attempt to patent a trade show communication system based on wireless flash drives which was highlighted in Popular Science as the future's top 20 hottest products. Additionally, Avi has been successful at fundraising, business consulting and confidential debt collection projects. Avi also created a short lived, yet hugely popular consumer electronics website selling T.V. analog to digital converter boxes. Additionally, Avi has his Private Pilot license and passed the written portion of the Instrument rating while working towards earning his CFI certification in order to teach new pilots to fly. Avi enjoys Chess, Tennis, Skiing, Fitness. Avi's personal and business travel has taken him all across the world.
