Philip Ray

I am a professional military person with over 25 years of "real world" experience. I have done (or tried) almost everything you can image. From military service to remodeling, carpentry, tiling, and construction to playing drums, DJ’ing, car audio installs, to computer repair: The list is almost endless. I hold a Masters degree in Information Systems. Although I have not worked in my field, I do keep abreast of the technologies.

I feel like a banana with a few brown spots: Just ripe enough to still eat right out of the peeling but getting too close to being mashed up for banana pudding. With a little humor, lots of hustle and some spunk, I have managed to spur myself into staying aboard the ride of life. I look to life's little pleasures and relish in the growing minds that are my children. My little ones say the most clever things and are amazing to watch grow. Keeping up with all they pick up and say provides me with countless hours of story telling at the office and online.

Patience, not being one of my virtues, sometimes holds me back; but I almost always manage to come out smiling. Writing is a passion, but has never been a career. I would love to start to share a little experience, knowledge, and humor from my life to leave as a legacy. We will see where this little experiment goes and try to add writer to my list of credentials.
