NashvillePete began his business career as a Market Research Analyst and forecaster for a major HVAC manufacturer. Several years taught him all he could learn in that job. He then served 8 years as a Strategic Planner and Internal Consultant with a major manufacturing company subsequently transfering to an operating division to execute a innovative product development plan resulting in significant revenue and profit growth. Afterwards he was the prime mover in a major importing project taking a $30 million operation to $160 million in revenues in a short 6 years. He has seen American manufacturing drop from top dog to a has been and knows why, how, and what must been done to restore America to a mayor player. After making a living in the engineering and business fields in the U.S., Europe and Asia NashvillePete retired to Nashville Tennessee. He became involved in the Vanderbilt University Retirement Learning at Vanderbilt program. In addition to taking numerous courses he conducted Memoir Writing workshops for several years. He publishes a neighborhood Blog for his community.
