Farhan Arshad

Farhan Arshad earned a Creative Writing and English degree from Emory University and also holds Master of Fine Arts degree from Northwestern University's prestigious Writing for the Screen and Stage graduate program. Farhan has served as a script reader for several production companies and in 2009 was one of five writers to be accepted into the Comedy Central Summer workshop. During the workshop he spent time at The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and also the development department.

Spell It, his original full-length script placed second in its category at the Skyfest Script and Film Festival in 2008. In 2010, Farhan was awarded a film grant from Northwestern University. With the grant he shot a half-hour pilot entitled Prison Boat, which he co-wrote and directed.

Farhan is also an avid basketball fan. In 2010, Farhan wrote press releases for the New Mexico Thunderbirds of the Developmental League. He also serves as a forum moderator for Realgm.com.
