Now retired, Ken Hayes has led a moderately interesting life: high school dropout, soldier for 10 years, Vietnam veteran, mainframe programmer, and vice-president in a billion dollar company. He is an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, very competitive by nature (chess, backgammon, and other games), stuck in the '50s and '60s musically, hooked on old friends, and thinks honesty and integrity are the most important and productive elements of social discourse.
