Laurence Boomer
Laurence Boomer is an artist, class of 1989 Ca. College of Arts, BFA, who has traveled widely in the Western United States and currently lives in the Central Oregon area. He is a self taught amatuer mycologist and naturalist, who is constantly learning more information about the natural world and the forest ecology. He has worked as white water raft guide, outdoors ski and rafting photographer and has also compiled thousands of photographs of nature. He is animal lover and is accompanied everywhere by four of the most incredible German Shepherds who love nature, perhaps, even more than he. At home, five cats keep the beds warm, and bugs at bay.
