Les Burch

Les Burch is a native of Colorado and graduated from Bear Creek High School in Jefferson County, Colorado. He received a BS in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Immediately after graduation in 1972 he started at the family-owned manufacturing company, Sashco Incorporated, as the Laboratory Manager. Les became President of Sashco in 1973, when his mother, Alice Hauptman retired from the position. He and his wife Carol have 2 sons, Jeffrey and Nickolas.

Sashco Sealants joined the Adhesive and Sealant Council, a national trade group for manufacturers in September of 1984. Les has served on various committees and groups of the association and was elected its Chairman in 1998. He served on the Board of Directors for over 30 years.

From 1994 to 1999 Les served on the Founding Committee and later the Steering Committee of D'Evelyn Junior/Senior High School, a liberal arts public high school in Jefferson County, Colorado. His sons graduated from D’Evelyn which remains one of the highest academically ranked high schools in Colorado.

Les was one of the co-founders of Harvest Fellowship Church in Brighton, Colorado and served as its Treasurer and Sunday School Coordinator for nearly 10 years. He currently attends Foothills Community Church in Arvada, Colorado where his family resides.
