Gina L. Battle was born in a suburban town outside of New York City. She is actively pursuing her education leading toward an advanced degree in Theatre Arts. Gina is also a freelance writer who has two columns at two separate news publications to her credit; along with two active blogs. She writes about several topics, but finds it gratifying to write about empowering and motivating women of all ages
Gina has a wide spectrum of interests which intertwine her advocacy for women, children, education, senior citizens, and the indigent. Her current work on a manuscript about professional guardianship obligations for incapacitated persons; caregiver responsibilities and their self-care is something she feels called upon to write. Her work is ongoing, and includes certifications and associations with: the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence; Florida State Guardianship Association; the NAACP; the Zonta International Women’s Club; and serves as a “Certified Visitor” for the Charlotte County Ostomy Support Group. She has had the privilege of giving a motivational speech and presentation called “Prevention of Teenage Pregnancy” summer, 2010; and has been a guest speaker at the Zonta International Women’s Club, 2011.
Please feel free to contact her via e-mail at gbinspire@gmail.com or by phone at (941) 624-6744.
