Rain is a full time writer who loves to share her knack for fun on a budget. As a mother of three (and wife of one), Rain has been challenged again and again by the beast known as the 'family vacation'. It can be tough to plan a vacation for a family that includes the kid, the tween, and the teenager, but through years of experience, Rain's finally gotten it right (and she's so glad to be done with diapers).
She loves sharing her crafty travel solutions to make any vacation affordable. Rain loves family vacations so much that she became a Disney Travel Specialist, currently working within the Disney system to find the best deals for her clients, free of charge.
Her cheapskate tendencies also work for her wardrobe. Rain creates her own styles, and shares her knowledge with her recent book, The Complete Guide to Customizing Your Clothes (Running Press, 2012), and as the host of About.com's DIY Fashion site.
