Chance Motta

Born in Seattle, WA in 1988 I spent most of my childhood growing up in Shoreline, WA. From the time I hit middle school writing and music became a huge part of my life. I've always found beauty in darkness perhaps partly due to growing up in the gloomy atmosphere of Seattle.

I spent most of high school writing poetry and short stories as well as learning to play guitar. After high school I moved to Minnesota for family reasons and began my first job at a gas station. I still continued to write and play music, but mostly for my own enjoyment.

About a year after living in Minnesota I decided to move back to Seattle and over the next few years I began playing music heavily on second life, which is an online platform where musicians can perform. After working full time and playing several shows I decided to fly to IL to record my first album.

After being back in Seattle for about a year and a half I moved to Michigan to spend time with a girlfriend. I continued to perform online, and did a few live performances in cities such as Detroit.

I than moved back to Minnesota for family reasons and began to take music a little more seriously. After my father passed away in July of 2010 I decided to enroll in school and began attending Full Sail University for a Bachelor's in music production.

Due to financial reasons I have currently had to withdrawal from Full Sail with about half of my degree completed, but soon as life allows I will continue school.
