Dovid Efune

Dovid Efune, 26, hails from Brighton, England, and is the director of the Algemeiner Newspaper and the Gershon Jacobson Foundation (GJCF). Now living in New York, he is credited with building the Algemeiner into the fastest growing Jewish newspaper in America.

He received his rabbinic ordination from Machon Lehoroah in Pretoria, South Africa and Machon Ariel in Jerusalem.

Efune is a strong vocal advocate for many issues facing Israel and the Jewish people. He is a popular speaker and is regularly published and interviewed on TV and the radio on topics relating to Israel and Judaism. Efune writes a highly anticipated weekly column for the Algemeiner and has been widely published by outlets including the American Spectator, JTA, Forward, Jerusalem Post, Hamodia, Israel National News and the Jewish Journal.

Under Efune's direction, the Gershon Jacobson Foundation is a Jewish Media organization dedicated to fighting ignorance, apathy and divisiveness. Bringing fair and honest information to the broadest possible impacting forum.
