Debra Gastelum
Debra Gastelum is a teacher and library media specialist at a middle school in Florida. She has been teaching for 19 years and has taught Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading, Journalism, Graphic Design and Media/Research Skills. Debra is one of the webmasters for her school and is also responsible for the yearbook.
She has been happily married for 24 years and has three children. She and her family love to travel, especially around Florida.
Her family has a collection of pets including dogs, cats, fish, snakes, bearded dragons, and turtles.
She's a pianist and is trying very hard to pass her talent on to her 12 year old daughter. She also loves gardening and is planning on expanding her vegetable garden this year to include even more varieties of peppers and tomatoes.
Debra loves to read and has been dabbling in writing since her first surprisingly successful poetry attempt in fourth grade when she wrote a poem about clowns and received an A from her teacher.
