David Elton
Born Hazleton, PA 1962, coal-mining country, toe-numbing winters, mosquito swatting summers. Grew up watching the NY Giants and Yankees get their asses handed to them throughout the early 70's until we moved to Arizona in 1976. Scottsdale Saguaro High. Golf team, Football, Film Club, Speech team. Wrote sports for the Scottsdale Progress newspaper. Did the play-by-play for football on the PA. Then ASU, San Francisco State - Degree in Screenwriting of all things. Moved to L.A - met a beautiful girl within 48 hours. Worked in the art department on movies (small and large) for about 18 years. During that period managed to co-write, produce, direct the acclaimed indy feature 'Jerome' circa 2000. I got my real estate license, eventually moved back to AZ and joined the family business. Elton Realty sprouted from that as well as a real estate photography business. Now coach my sons flag football team appropriately named the 'New York Giants'. In Zelig-like fashion they mimic the personality of the 'Big' Giants - so now I get to pull my hair out twice a week instead of once. But of course, I wouldn't trade it for the world. My little girl is an actress - already has 15 plays and a couple short films on her resume so we'll see where that goes...
