Mike Capozzi
Growing up in northern New Jersey, I started my love of sports by rooting for the early 80's Mets, the Darryl Dawkins/ Michael Ray Richardson led Nets, and Kenny O'Brien and Freeman McNeil's Jets. Starting in the late 80's, my uncle and I embarked on a nearly 2 decade run in a rotisserie baseball league. We would fill accountant ledgers with nearly every major leaguers stats from the previous season, position by position. We discussed draft strategies, monetary designations, and every possible potential trade. I've been hooked on fantasy baseball, as it's called now, for most of my life. I am one Derrek Lee five RBI game from being the four time defending champ in my friends and family league, which I consider my league "of integrity" (if I may steal that from the guys at "Mike and Mike"). When I take my dog for her evening walk, I clear my mind, pick a topic, and analyze it until I wrap my mind all the way around it. Most recently, the mess the Mets are in. That's been a tough one, but I have some thoughts. That's actually what inspired me to sign up here.
