I guess I'm yet another one of those people who is in one job and wishes he was doing another.
I feel like I'm a writer. A full-time writer at heart, though not by trade. I have a freelance writing gig, two or three pieces a week, but not enough to live on, hence my day-job in the financial industry.
My professional writing is about local and national musicians. I do concert previews, album reviews, artist interviews and profiles.
Anyhoosel, I love music. I love food. I love NASCAR. And I love writing about all of those things.
I could stand to lose a few pounds (see above reference to food-love), but I have an amazing wife, an incredible son, a paycheck, fantastic friends and 12,000 songs on my iPod. What else do you need? I mean, other than, like, a really good club sandwich with the little sword toothpicks?
