Writing gives me the chance to speak my mind about the many things that I enjoy in life like sports, history, music, theology and politics. My mind is filled with a wealth of knowledge, my heart filled with educated opinions, and my soul is filled with questions. A life of conversation is what drives my continual search to better understand the Truth.

I'm a recent Concordia University (Oregon) graduate and am currently working full-time (seasonally) at a golf course in Portland. I played two years of NAIA baseball at Concordia (Nebraska) and have played competitive sports (baseball, football, golf, bowling, basketball, soccer) my entire life. After transferring to Concordia Portland, I made the move from athletics back to my other love of music. For my final two years, I played in the university's wind ensemble as the principal trumpet.

As a son of a Lutheran minister, my Christian faith deeply impacts my life. Living in five different states has allowed me to experience the many different people and places that makes our country so incredible.

While I haven't yet decided on a definite career path, I have a general idea of what I would like to do in life. I keep my doors open to take advantage of any opportunities that might come my way.
