John has been an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks fan for more than three decades. He has worked in journalism, public affairs and public relations over the last 11 years. He has written hard news, features and everything in between. As an intern, he was able to cover the Dallas Cowboys training camp at Midwestern State University twice. He was a reporter at the Times Record News in Wichita Falls, Texas, for a couple years before taking on the editor s role at the award-winning Sheppard Senator, the official newspaper of Sheppard Air Force Base. John also led Sheppard into the Social Media Revolution via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. He did the same at a local hospital. John has returned to his roots of reporting and writing on current events.
