Losing a loved one is heartbreaking; losing a child, unbearable. Losing my 20-year-old son was the "last straw" for me emotionally, mentally, and physically, and I found myself propelled into a songwriting journey that has saved my life.
  • The Day Dad Left
There are some things that happen in our lives so emotionally painful they are burned into our memory forever. I will never forget the day my father left, nor the blank, emotionless expression he had as I pleaded for him to stay.
