Four years of undergraduate work at Towson University; admitted to graduate school program of Professional Writing and completed two semesters in 1990. Worked as an administrator at Towson for 12 years; several years of experience in retail management; business owner (antiques and vending); other work in retail, temporary agencies, auction house. Experience as a writer, editor, poet, and author. Collector at one time or another of antiques, entertainment memorabilia, and other collectibles. Spent past several years as general contractor, having home improvement projects done on the home my family has owned for more than 50 years, and doing some smaller projects myself.
