Left home at 17 to attend U of I in Champaign, IL. where I was involved in running successful horse shows and clinics for the u of I Riding Club that was my first exposure to being in charge of large groups of people. After leaving I taught riding at an exclusive camp in PA, and then worked in research labs, worked for private veterinarians, worked 8 years at the U of I Large Animal Clinic. In the middle of life, I went back to school to become an x-ray technologist and become further trained as a CT tech and worked in 3 hospitals, each furthering my training. Having horses, rescuing animals, flower gardening, and giving riding lessons filled in all the other hours in the day. Increasing medical problems have altered the course of my life and now I spend time exploring chronic pain issues, disability insurance and once again reentering the job market from a new perspective.
