Aaron Murphy

Born in Harlan, Kentucky, currently living in Arkansas. Believer. I am a Motorsports fan who enjoys all forms of racing. I follow NASCAR & NHRA as well as local dirt track racing. Of all the different forms of racing, stock car racing is my favorite. Being raised in the South, I come across my love of stock car racing naturally. Long before I came along, my parents attended NASCAR races back in the 1960's at what was then known as Bristol International Raceway, as well as at the numerous dirt tracks in the mountains of eastern Kentucky & Tennessee. Early on racing became my favorite sport and over the years I have traveled to over 15 different NASCAR tracks and countless dirt tracks throughout the south/mid south. My favorite track is Bristol Motor Speedway, and I go to races each year at Atlanta Motor Speedway & Talladega Superspeedway. I also go to the local dirt tracks here in Arkansas as much as possible. In true Southern fashion I love the history of the Stock Car Racing. From the days of running moonshine, through the dirt tracks of the south, to the mainstream national media exposure the sport commands today I enjoy all the sport has to offer. I was (and always will be) a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. After his death in 2001 at the Daytona 500 I began to follow Tony Stewart as my driver and that continues to this day. I am also a fan of RCR's Austin Dillon.

In addition to racing, an a sports fan in general. I love college sports as well as the NFL, NBA , MLB. I'm a lifelong Kentucky Wildcats fan and a part time Arkansas Razorbacks fan...part time meaning as long as they aren‘t playing Kentucky! ;)

On a personal note, I enjoy traveling & volunteering for charitable organizations. I'm a 13 year volunteer for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics and an Eric Church fan who enjoys all types of music. In my spare time I like to play games on PS3 & Xbox 360.
