When not designing and building outdoor recreational and living spaces; Rexcrisanto keeps occupied by sharing his written thoughts with readers as an independent writer, blogger and novelist. Since immigrating to America at the age of four, he has developed a keen appreciation for being an American while maintaining his connection to his Filipino-Igorot heritage, which is why much of his writing revolves around the importance of heritage. As a writer, Rexcrisanto seeks to make a positive difference in the lives of others by inspiring readers to find that which is valuable in one’s heritage and apply it towards the betterment of one’s character and purpose in life. His debut novel, “Igorotdo: The Warrior Within,” which is a historical fiction depicting his unique highlander heritage will be released spring of 2012.
