Laura Cushing writes short stories, poems, and non-fiction articles. She has worked as a music correspondent for a national social media network, and as a social media consultant for bands from indie to majorly signed. Her short fiction, articles, and poetry have appeared in literary magazines, zines, and of course online. She has performed her poetry all over the tri-state area, and was a featured performer at the Mid-Atlantic Spoken Word Festival. She is an avid player of board and card games, including Scrabble, Mahjong, and Canasta; and roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder. She can also be found gaming on her Wii or reading books on her Kindle Fire - and hunting Geocaches throughout her state.
