Richard Scilla began writing many years ago while working as an Engineer, Manager and Technical Writer for various New Jersey semiconductor corporations. He was involved in the early research, development and marketing of Gallium Arsenide Infrared Semiconductor LEDs and Lasers.

Richard earned the Federal Communications Commission's General Radiotelephone Operator License to work on FCC licensed radiotelephone transmitters.

Richard Scilla also has organized a non-profit organization to distribute Bible study and other audio recordings to the needy.

Currently, to make "ends meet", Richard Scilla is working as a salesman and customer service specialist in a major store.

Richard Scilla began writing as an independent contractor for Associated Content, Inc., which is now a proud part of the Yahoo! family through the "Yahoo! Contributor Network" website.
