I started my writing career as an advertising designer with a weekly movie review column but the lure of the news room called to me. In addition to working as a journalist, I have worked as a photographer, creative writer and freelancer. I am currently pursuing a degree in Fine Arts. I enjoy all things artsy and/or crafty, especially ceramics, jewelry making and metalworking. I am mother to two boys, a former military wife and am currently running my own business.
