Matt Meier
Matt Meier grew up in the Lower Merion suburb of West Philadelphia, a town some may recognize as the former high school of LA Laker Kobe Bryant. Following in Kobe’s footsteps, Matt left the City of Brotherly Love in his late teens for the City of Angels, where Matt waited for his own hometown basketball abilities to naturally kick in while continuing his education at USC’s prestigious School of Cinematic Arts.
Matt still struggles to dribble a ball, but lucky for him, he’s a pretty talented writer. As a professional freelancer living in LA, Matt has dabbled in a variety of interests over the years. His film & TV reviews, sports columns, and op-eds of all sorts have been featured on multiple websites. He also writes for film & television with his fellow LA-based Philly brother, and has various other ongoing collaborations.
