@mattlawrence, a public relations Account Executive, has over three years of experience in communications working on political campaigns, the federal government, non-profit, and private sector with specializations in regional and national communications. Matthew has worked extensively on developing and implementing regional and national press strategy related to a wide range of issues including domestic economic opportunity, healthcare, college affordability, corporate business, and trade.
Before his current venture, Matthew served as a Presidential Appointee under President Barack Obama in the Office of the United States Trade Representative. In this position, Matthew aided in regional messaging efforts focused on major trade legislation as well as White House initiatives including the American Jobs Act and policy stemming from the President s State of the Union address. Also at USTR, Matthew traveled domestically with Obama Cabinet officials to lead regional communications efforts. Before USTR, Matthew was a press intern for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow and a field intern on the 2008 Obama for America campaign.
