Tania Staley

Tania Staley is an avid reader and writer. She is a graduate from Eastern Kentucky University’s (EKU) Bluegrass Writers Studio where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (P-5 Certification) from Berea College. She has a passion for instilling a love of reading and writing in those around her, and in her undergraduate degree she created and tested curriculum to utilize creative writing in elementary classrooms. She continued this love for improving and showcasing others’ writing by being Fiction Editor for EKU’s graduate literature journal. Her favored form of writing is poetry, but she hopes to write a novel and memoir someday. Tania has 9+ years’ experience working in retail, and holds the position of Retail Shift Leader at her current job. When she is not reading, writing or working, she likes to curl up on her couch with her boyfriend of two years and cat of six watching fantasy and sci-fi movies and TV.
