I have been a baseball fan my entire life. From the first time I attended a game at Tiger Stadium (it was free bat day), I was hooked!

I had been a casual fan until 2006, when the Detroit Tigers had a winning team for the first time in my adult life. Now, I can kick back and relax to the dulcet tones of Dan Dickerson and Jim Price on the radio, on a nightly basis.

I started playing fantasy baseball in 2008, and that made me a hardcore fan. I figured the only way to win was to become an expert on Major League Baseball. As of 2013, I have six championships and three second place finishes over three leagues.

I take an analytical approach toward the game, utilizing SABRmetrics, but only as a guide for player and team evaluation. While numbers tell the underlying story, the eye test tells the main story.

I don't just love my Major League club, I love baseball, in general. Whenever I get the chance, I check out a minor league game, because those games have some excellent atmosphere. And you can find me around town wearing Tigers caps or minor league baseball caps.

I was born legally blind, with Albinism. And no, I haven't been hit by a ball batted into the crowd...yet. Although, I came close, last year at Comerica Park!

I received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, in 2008, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan, in 2012.

In also enjoy watching college and pro hockey and basketball, NASCAR, tennis, and golf.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, and barbecuing. I make a mean plate of beer brats!
