    Californians were disappointed on Tuesday when Yes on Proposition 8 passed. I am not particularly surprised it didn't pass, because unfortunately, I think that there is a problem in the verbage and in the way things are presented.

    I had fled from Lebanon in 1989 when the war had become unbearable. Now living in the U.S., I had gone to visit family and friends. One week into my vacation, the airport was bombed and a war between Hezbollah and Israel was started forcing me to leave.
