Steve Helmer
Steve is a married father of two who has lived in Wisconsin most of his life. Even though he comes from a long line of military veterans, he chose not to follow that path and instead earned a Bachelor s degree in journalism and history from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls in 1998.
Originally starting out as a newspaper reporter, Steve ultimately realized he was happier working an 8-5 job, has now worked in the telecommunications industry for about a decade and chooses to do freelance writing in his spare time instead. He writes articles about the things he's passionate about. This includes married life, parenting, movies, cooking, Packers football and political issues from an independent voter's perspective.
