Dr. Sharon A. Takiguchi
Sharon Takiguchi spent 41 years in healthcare in Hawaii. She possesses BS and MS degrees in Nursing and a Doctoral degree in Public Health. Currently working in Patient Safety. Her past work involved acute care hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, and nursing homes, educated health professionals at all levels, spent four years in a medical-legal department and volunteered much time for the American Lung Association. She encountered two life-threatening illnesses (one caused by the hospital).
