Viktor Nagornyy

Viktor Nagornyy was born in Ukraine. He immigrated to the US in 2001. In 2005 he joined the US Navy and served four years until his honorable discharge in 2009. While on active duty he became interested in photography and began pursuing BA in Photography in 2006 at the Academy of Art University. In 2007, one of his photographs appeared in an exhibition "We Are All Photographers Now" in Musée de l'Elysée, Lausanne, Switzarland. Upon his discharge from the Navy he transferred to Rochester Institute of Technology where he's working to finish his degree in Photojournalism.
