I was born and grew up in a small town in upstate New York. In 1975 while serving in the U.S. Navy I was transferred to Hampton Roads, Virginia where I remained for more than twenty years. During my time in Virginia I began persuing my pilots license. In addition I became a contributor to several Aviation Publications including the now defunct "Southern Aviator"
