Telishia Berry has an interdisciplinary education in business, communications, and Journalism. She works with small businesses on developing marketing campaigns and designing attractive promotional products that get results.
Telishia is also a cosmetologist and former salon owner. She truly knows the beauty industry, from hairstyling to salon marketing. She takes pride in assisting other beauty professionals in boosting their businesses.
Telishia also has many years of experience and accomplishments as a playwright. Her first production, "Wake Up" was met by sell out performances and received rave reviews and awards. The show starred actor, Carl Payne Jr, best known for his role as "Cole" on the TV show Martin, gospel music artist Deitrick Haddon, and the late Ron Banks of the R& B group the Dramatics. Telishia also wrote the follow up production, "Wake up 2" which starred Gospel Artist, Antwaun Stanley and American Idol finalist, Lakisha Jones. ". The show also earned her a "Woman of the Year"award from Just For Her Magazine and a "Resolution" award from the City of Flint, Michigan. Telishia also wrote the hilarious comedy musical play, "Hair Weave." The cast included comedians, Mike Epps, Zooman, and Foolish. She looks forward to releasing her first novel, and other writing projects, including several screenplays.
That's not all this hard working wife and mother of four does. She also played the role of "Stage mom." Telishia used her acting experience to help develop her son, Kendre' Berry into a professional actor, who was a top five finalist in Nickelodeon's "Search for the Funniest Kid in America'. Kendre' played the role of "Jabari" on the hit TV show, Girlfriends. He also starred in several movies and appeared in many tv shows, including The ABC movie, "Searching For David's Heart, The Emmy Award winning, HBO drama, Six Feet Under, "Durrell", and many more.
